2.1 Up-scaling DVD Player - What do you think? - 08 July 2008 03:13
I'm looking for a new system for my HDTV as I'm not really satisfied with the built-in sound. Not really interested in 5.1 surround sound TBH, I'd prefer 2.1 or stereo so it's less hassle placing all the speakers.

What do you think of this? I can't find many that aren't surround sound.

Do what I have done mate, get yourself a decent Stero Amp and bookshelf speakers, will sound a hell of alot better with details than the out of the box kinda thing.

Look at the righer sounds site for some ideas on prices, but theirs now reason you cant get a good Cambrdige Audio stereo Amp and Monitor Speakers for a good price.
