I have just got a denon asd3w ipod dock, have it setup wireless and receiving internet radio all ok but cant get it playing music from my laptop.  anyone set one of these up before?

I take it the internet radio is streaming stright from the wireless router!?

yep the radio is coming from the router. cant seem to find a way of playing music from laptop. and whats a URL?!!  i looked on itunes and looked at the stream music option - it says enter a URL.   thanks

Is a URL not for the address of a resource site or  somthing like that?, is that what its asking for!?

i have almost got it sorted,  got the computer linked to dock, but prob now is, all my music is on itunes and the doc only seems to work on windows media player! d'oh - doesnt seem to be any way to get thedoc taking music from itunes, b@stard thing!

If you can find the iTunes Library, their should be no reason you cant import that folder to Media Player.
 
Assuming they are all MP3 tracks and you havent used apples AAC format.

the problem i have is the dock will only link with windows media player, i have tried to import my tunes fron itunes but it just wont happen - i think the format which they are recorded in is not comaptable with windows media player.  its not a huge problem because i need to restore my laptop anyways, just irratating.  the dock is quite cool though - can acess hundreds of free internet radio stations, is a pain to set up and coule be easier and smoother to use though - can view pictures on tv aswell but i think ill be mainly using it for music.   

After 2 days of fiddling and messing around its finally up and running, after getting used to the controls and moving my music collection to windows media player from itunes all is good. it is quite a cool gadget, sound quality is good - sounds just like playing a cd.  would reccomend buying one - just get someon else to set it up!
