Call of Duty 5: World at war?
-
19 November 2008 15:36
Impressions? Only played a few levels but will be getting stuck in this week again. Although many dont like it going back to the WWII ear, for a long time I didnt pick up on colse games so hadnt played any of the COD games before this one, so hard for me to compare. Tho part of me is REALLY wanted COD6 to be set slightly in the future, with the COD4/5 engine I think that would be fckin kick ass.

Ive only dabbled with COD2 so ive never really played a WW shooter.COD4 got me into shooters properly.I love the new one just as much as 4.I like the maps alot more.Havent really played much of the single player yet.Hopefully I too will get a run at it this weekend.Being playing online most of my time(5hrs).Not too much. Great game.Ill have to complete it before I get Resistance 2 next friday.

We fear change lol I think its different, hence me playing COD4 for a year solid anything similar but new is always difficult to change to. But they have made alot of errors in the multiplayer, artillary is so god damn slow to react its pretty useless, dogs things I thing is alittle boring. Weapon weights are comical, could they not have even picked up ONE history book and try to come close to some kind of reality. Not as involved with single player, maybe the whole WWII theme was a bad idea after having the joy of all the modern stuff.

Okay played it abit more. Pretty god damn sh!t if ya ask me. Seriously, who the fcuk came up with the weapons balences, could they have at least tried to pick up ONE history book about it? WWII machine guns having a HUGE range on them, WTF? Bolt loading guns, One shot one kill? WTF? Pleanty of bugs for poeple to expolit on the Multiplayer levels, tanks are pointless, seriously, they add f all. And lastly Sound, whoever did it muct be deaf, terrible terrible effects throughout.

I got it for Christmas and was going to play it today but given your assassination of the game I think I will be going to the pub at midday I can now enjoy my alcoholism knowing that it is somebody elses fault

^^ Its not mean Im worries about. This morning I woke up with a Fresian cow! On a more serious note I finally played the game yesterday. I must saw I have really enjoyed it thus far. Im not that far into the game (just finished the sniper level) but Im happy enough. One thing that is a bit annoying though as that on some levels there are just too many japs. You just sit from a distance picking them off for about 15 minutes. Gets a litte bit repetitive at times. Graphics are nice enough. Just playing on my little telly at the mo. Got a little 32 inch Toshiba Rega for the bedroom. Now I can play as much ps3 as I want without getting moaned at!
