HDMI CABLES - 31 March 2008 20:47
Is there any difference between hdmi cables?   i know from prev posts that they are all similar so i have ordered a cheap £4 one,  is there a differnce between a standard lead and a 1.3a lead?

Nope none.
 
THo im thinking back but I may have heard about some cables carrying a certain signal correctly, cant remember the outcome.
 
For the sake of £4 you will know sure enough, but the general thought is you dont pay for anything special in an HDMI cable.

Very long runs do require good quality, I'm talking 15/20 meters though. With 1 and 2 meter cables it doesn't make a difference. Molex the original inventors of HDMI make some of the cheapest cables available
