Help needed with Freeview Channels...
-
18 December 2007 12:28
Hey, I've had my new Philiips TV with built-in freeview for a few months now however, I don't have a digital outside. I brought the most powerful indoor aerial I could find but it still only gives me 10-15 channels. I've checked on the freeview website and I should get nearly every channel so, apart from getting a new outside digital aerial does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I get differing results from the front and back of my house using an aerial, might sound stupid but can you run the aerial into another room?

Using an indoor aerial is never going to get you spectacular results, but if you want a fighting chance, find out what transmitter you are on, then go on google earth or similar, find the transmitter then plot a line back to your house, then atleat you will know which general direction to point the aerial. (unless you have an omni-directional aerial of course, in which case forget it and get a proper aerial installed!) Andy.
