Any ideas?? muscletalk works so well, was it like this the 1st year on MT?, this has the potential to be a popular board.

It's a difficult one - MT was started a lot earlier with less competition.  But even so we managed to spend more time on there and have a bit of luck! ;)

I think one of the issues we have is people on MT would often rather post in general than pop over here as it is more convenient for them. 

However, I agree with you there is a lot of potential here.  It is just a matter of posting - all those that enjoy it need to post as often as they can to pick things up a bit.  We will eventually reach a tipping point - a lot of new boards never even get this far.

I think that AVForums are most peoples first stop for anything related to home entertainment. It would be hard competing with an established site that size with thousands of members.

MuscleTalk did fine competing against bodybuilding.com and elitefitness.com.  Some people just like different communities
