LCD screen and arieals
-
25 August 2008 15:42
Ive just got rid of my 14" portable and bought a 32" LCD for my room. Why is it these new tellys need such a good arieal and still the pic isnt as good as my old 14" portable. On my old tv i just had one of them loop areials that came with in and the pic was excellent. Ive been out and bout an indoor 45db arieal and amplifer and the pic still isnt very good on my new TV. It came with a free view box and it hardly pick any channels up so gone back to the norm 5 channels but like i said the pic quality is still quite poor.

Better screen development these days compared to Crt screens of the past And dont forget that 14" picture going to a stretched 32" screen will make a difference Anyway wait till your watching HD Tv or Blu-ray movies or even using a Xbox360 on your new Tv you will be blown away by the picture in High Def

Depends, the problem right now with ALL the digital signals is they are not running at 100% power, as doing this would interferr with the current analuge signals. When they are turned off shortly after the digital signals will be able to broadcast at 100%, giving everyone a very good signal. And another good thing could be a scaler on your TV, if its an HD screen then the TV ahs to scale the SD quality signal to fitover the space, this can vary wildly between sets.

I dont have a clue what that means , its just a cheap one LTV-3204H £299 but got it for £70 so was daft to turn down really
