Hello people great site very helpfull

here are 2 pics of my set up first is with old TV and Messy room

But as of Fri (fingers crossed!!!!!!!) i will be picking up the keys to my new flat  so will be moving all my kit over.......... Will be on for some ideas on where to put it all as the room is a VERY odd shape

Nice set up mate - although I see you've tidied your room, the floor still needs a Hoover ...    Still no need if you're moving.

Yeh I know where Spratton is mate
Oh so you're moving to Sixfields - dont go up that end of town v often - usually just the Kett side and the town centre

Amp is an old ish Kenwood KRF-V5050D
Old DVD is a Samsun DVD-709 (chipped to play R1)
Have my 360 now with new HD-DVD
And TV is Toshiba 32WLT66
Mission sub with flats for 5.1 sound

The Toshiba stuff has been getting good reviews from readers I noticed, many poeple dont have them as a first choice but they seem to be highly rated!.
 
Always liked Kenwood stuff, think its cause alot of my first Hi#Fi stuff was kenwood.
 
Hd-DVD player lookin/ working good?

Yeah the Toshiba was getting 5 star rating in all the mags bar the sound and that was getting 4 and i don't use the sound for anything but tv, and don't watch much lol
 
HD-DVD is very nice but my tv is only 1080i not p and my 360 doesn't have a HDMI port on it and can't stop thinking if the pic would be better with HDMI on 1080p

I now have an Elite and have ordered a 50" Plasma but hate my Ikea units and want to tidy it all up.......

Well after 2 months of looking in mags like WHAT HI FI I have ordered a Samsung PS-50P96FDX its in the mags at about £1900 but I managed to get it for JUST over £1400 I just know in 2 months time it will prob be £200 cheaper but how long do you wait? if you wait too long the something better comes along and you end up wantint that lol its the law of the sod!
