So I'm guessing quite a few here will have seen this either at the pics or on DVD

I saw it on DVD and was a little underwhelmed. I can see why Daniel Day Lewis got the Oscar for best actor. And I liked what they did with the plot (start you out with no idea how it's going to end, etc)

But, I think it was a little over-hyped. To be honest, I was expecting more. I can't quite place my finger on it, but it didn't have me too excited at any point, and for a long film, that leaves you feeling not too excited for quite a long time

I'm going to give it a 7.5 out of 10. Has to be seen, but it won't make your "Day" (Was that the worst pun ever made? I think so)

I was thinking the same, I was expecting more from the Story to be honest, yes Daniel Day Lewis did an amazing job playing a monster, but I dont get the endng, tho some of it makes sence.

It feels like youve been cheated out of somthing lol.

I got 'dragged' to see this at the cinema, certainly not a movie I would have chosen to go and see of my own choice. I have to say I actually really enjoyed it and I suprised myself in so much as I found i can enjoy a film that does NOT involve zombies, ghouls, ghosts, decapitation, aliens etc etc.

Bit of an epic though, wasn't it about 3 hours or something?

I was expecting gangs of New York I suppose but was very dissapionted with a lack of plot, story and end.

Over 3 if i remember..but being so intense the whole of it it wore me down lol.

sounds too bloody! not my kinda movie
