Virgin and other ISP's against illegal downloads. - 03 July 2008 12:50
Been listening to the news and it appears Virgin are sending out letters to poeple about illegally downloading music etc etc?

How does this work then? are the monitoring certain sites etc etc? it seems to be either they ar sending them to poeple who the have traced, or just as a big scare tactic (I think the latter), or jus tot make it appear as tho they are doing somthing.

I'm pretty sure our providers know what we are downloading.

i thought the issue was whether or not they could pass on our private details etc address to the companies that are being stolen from?
